08/03/2014: new design
After years in blue, I wanted to provide you, me, everyone with a new design. I wanted something easy, functional, but not too boring. So here it is. Let me know what you think about it.
08/03/2014: Mui-Ne Gallery
08/03/2014: Cu Chi Tunnel
07/28/2021:
I introduced the new start page a few days ago. The idea was that a graphical shorter version would be better. People interested in the background of the website can find that in the about page. It also includes a short history now.
I also introduced the Projects sections with this update.
09/13/2020:
Today, the re-design went online. After a lot of changes and testing, I feel it is ready now.
With the new float design and the flat icons, I created a modern new look, made the page even more personal (all icons are now own creations) and hopefully achieved major improvements for mobile devices.
Please feel free to provide some feedback. I would very much appreciate it. Thanks.
09/06/2020: I introduced the newest version of my slideshow today. It includes a new design (which will likely have an effect on the whole website sooner or later), better viewing possibilities for the pictures and a lot of improvements on the presentation (especially for mobile devices). Should you encounter any issues, please send me an e-mail. Since I cannot test with any browser, OS and device, this would be very helpful. Thanks.
08/20/2020: Today I introduced the new and fresher blastyak.net logo. It's the outcome of playing with Affinity Designer, which allowed me in a very short time to improve on the old logo. I hope you agree ;-)
05/24/2018: Added a privacy policy (German: Datenschutzerklärung) according to the DSGVO law.
08/13/2016: After working on a new slideshow style for my galleries, I set it live today. There are minor things to be improved and some strange behavior of the Dolphin browser to investigate, but I really like the new design and functionality.
06/09/2015: Today, I finished functionality to display pictures' metadata at the bottom of the photo galleries. This is supposed to give other photographers a little background information about the used equipment and settings. Hope you like it.
01/23/2015: Getting closer to finish my work with last year's vacations. The photo book is complete, only a handful of galleries are left to prepare for the homepage.
Preps for this year's trips are ongoing and I am looking forward to some hopefully great new trips and pictures.
10/05/2014: Added an alerter functionality today. If you want to know, when I update the history or blog, subscribe within the alerter (under contact) and you will receive a mail about my updates.
I am happy to welcome some followers soon.
08/07/2014: The re-design is online, a lot of work is done. There will be some more improvements over the next time still, but one can get a good impression already. If you are having any issues with the website, please let me know. I cannot test all combinations of screen resolution, browsers and operating systems, so there might be some errors, I did not find. Have fun on my site.
